I went to Shinjuku yesterday to have my camera repaired. It was my first time to see what’s outside the Shinjuku station.
Now the first thing to do would be to find the Canon repair center. I wrote down the address and kept a map in my cellphone. Problem is I’m no good in reading maps. Fortunately, I found the place by asking around (just two times :))
Once inside, I was surprised to see it was rather busy. There were also no English instructions. Good thing some girl staff helped me out to get the priority number. I was expecting the camera will be fixed by next week. Surprise again! It would be fix at 2:30pm (It was 12noon at that time). Wow, only 2 and a half hours! Really fast considering there was a continuous stream of broken cameras and printers coming in.
So, off I went to Akihabara to burn the 2.5 hours. I bought a CPU heatsink/fan for my PC. It’s an Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 7.

At 2:45pm, I was back at the Canon repair center in Shinjuku. The camera is now fixed and the bill is on the table.
So that’s goodbye to Y9,975.00! welcome back ixy400!
was it worth repairing? or was it better if i’d just bought a new camera?
what do you think?
